99 rants

this is taken of one of my post at hardwarezone fourm , so in this post im posting my ranting story to the ppl there. so take note.

okay Im calm and just got home

let me explain one thing, its is true the paper and website all promo the product to be at 199 instead of 99.right ?

for those of us who ever been to this kind of massive sales event . we could sometimes hear someone yelling " la la (pardon my chinese for being so poor back in the school days which transcend to be come, come ) alo-bang (pardon my singlish for not being such a ah beng back in those days) special offen for a limited time ah, product A is going for xx dollars instead of xxxx dollars grab now ah or die later " (yes i add it that last part in so that it would not make it sooo dramatic later . oh shoot i gave away the ending >< )

anyway back into the story, in this case it's was $99 they were echoing all over their area at the time that suck me into it.U got to be kidding me IF u are not tempted by it and said its not a GOOD BUY.

Untill mac Decided to drop their 30gb ipod for at a pirce of let say hmmm about $60 - $100. THIS IS A FREAKING GOOD DEAL, my friend. plus THE sweet beatifully salegirl said it can also act as thumbdrive made me want more[ the product not the girl :) ]

so i decided to get it, so the story goes blah blah blah ,yah tee yah tee blah blah (look at my 1st post if u are lost (side note not the tv show that kind of "lost" side side note... oh wait nevermind)

And now at this point of my ranting story. i went back to and talk the manger nicely, i show him the two
the two receiptd (yes SNAG i learn the word "invoice" at primary 5 too) which the mid-old lady casher have bill me for the sweet sweet product. i said "hey man, u guys billed me wrongly.it supposed to be 99 instead of 199. he checked and made a suprised sound and quickly ask the cashier to refund. at first i relifted (sp im too tired to correct spelling my bad sorry ) but yet stress because i hate to be in centre of attendtion esp in a fuss like this. just got it over with dumass this is what i thought to myself.

after a while, the cashier told us this isnt the right repceiptd for the invoice. the manger look at her strangely and took the bill to have a cross check and confim it. then i look at it. and told him that "then how come ur comany name is here " pointing at the usually spot where company name are print on" at this time im more frusteding than nervou-cracking.because they lacking the type of customer support that is needed in today sales line that should include carefull observation b4 "arguing back"

and i add in these words " i bought so far 2 product up to this time (that time) ur mp3 player and the other one is copperhead ! " i wanted to show the copperhead receipted. he told me " calm down, we will cross refeterence with our own receipted.then he goes over to an malay collogue (sp) then begin fuzzing throught the paperwork.

at this point i was totally stunned , sad , angty , screwed, crap , f**ked whathever u wan to call it. several mintues went past. at this time i was way past tense and a just little bit more my lid is going ka boo (not ka-pow its a moive title funny may i add) anyway i thought to myself , this cant be happing to me, this sucks shitf this hole) . the manger walk over to my side , i said in a still calm voice. ( obviously still keep struggle within me to keep that lid shut. sometimes i even suprised myslef with that abiblty) " how ?"

he told me it didnt check out like i said. "WHAT ?" took a closer look i examined every letter on both recipted ' and said this cannot be happening.." then i really fking blow my head off When he thearted me with the police , grabbing my left arm and insulting my personal belif as a customer , and implanting THAT I am the conman here.

in the back of my mind, my evil side told me to box him and my good side told me i should show him and the rest of staff or whoever. to settle this without boxing.

in spite of my diemma of the 2 choices i need to make . i yell at the tip of my head " WAIT !" but he is still threateding me. " WAIT !!! a moment." this time in more commanding voice. I pull out my wallet and pull out my the other bills which is the copperhead bill and a some dvd rw bill (which is not important to metion).he took it and look at it.

he said this to me now in more pleasent but not so nice tone " trw bring ur bank account book . update it , tally it see whether right or not." i ask him again how, at this point in time i can see the annoying face he show me as the same past couple of mintues i felt being annoy and betray by him as a customer the lack of trust that a customer and vendors relationship should NOT have.( so that it can mantain a healty relationship between the two.)

he said2 me again " trw update ur back bk, tally up the amount , if right , we will refund u if not dnt borther to come" and walk away saying yah after heard what i had understood.

and the rest is history.

well now for those of u who bear with me throught this compo. go and drop some eye drop and imagined me kiss those eyes... :)

now i feel awardward
